DMZ: Recon is an extraction-based game mode where squads of three players engage in Player versus Player versus Environment (PvPvE) combat against a mix of humans and hostiles.

The objective of DMZ: Recon is to drop in, fight, collect loot, and extract through one of several Exfils (also known as Extraction Zones). If you extract safely before the match ends, you keep the progress and loot you’ve earned. If you die before extracting, you lose it all.

Deploy to the largescale Serpent Island or battle along the corridors of Building 21. Complete Contracts, find new gear, and evade the expanding cloud of radiation closing in throughout the match.
